About Let's Get Ready!

WHO WE ARE:

Let's Get Ready (LGR) is America's largest network of student-run college access programs.

MISSION: Let's Get Ready expands access to college in America by mobilizing, equipping, and empowering a movement of college students helping high school students get to college. Through a network of campus and community-based chapters, Let's Get Ready's trained college student volunteers provide disadvantaged students with intensive SAT preparation, college advising, and the powerfully relevant role-models and mentors they need to succeed.

SUCCESS TO DATE:

• In 2007, LGR ran 40 programs throughout the northeast.
• Let's Get Ready has guided more than 5,000 under-served students through the college process.
• Let's Get Ready has trained and supported 2,000 college student volunteers with outstanding results.
• 92% of Let's Get Ready students go directly to college after high school.
• 84% of Let's Get Ready students go directly to four year colleges.
• On average, LGR students increase their SAT scores by 110 points.
