Commerce Bank Presents a $500 Grant to Let’s Get Ready

On Friday, December 8th, Commerce Bank awarded $500 to Let's Get Ready for the organization's efforts to provide under-served high school students with the support and guidance they need to reach college. The check was presented at the opening of Commerce Bank's new Manhattan location (at 86th and Columbus), and the event included City Council Member Gale Brewer.

Lauri Novick, LGR's Executive Director, said “Both Commerce Bank and Let's Get Ready are growing in New York City, and we are grateful for the support. In 2006, LGR had 11 programs in NYC and we plan to expand even more in the next year in order to serve as many students as possible."
