BECOME A SITE DIRECTOR

Becoming a Site Director is a paid internship opportunity for those who are interested in the areas of education, nonprofit management and/or community building. 

There are three types of Site Directors: Access, Transition, and Success.

 

An Access Site Director organizes, publicizes, and recruits student participants and college student volunteers for the free SAT Preparation & College Readiness Program.

Requirements:

  • You must be a US citizen or retain permanent residence, be enrolled in an undergraduate university program, and be interested in and comfortable with working with high school students in under-served communities.
  • Fall programs run from September through December.

A Transition Site Director oversees the virtual and in-person support and mentoring of hundreds of past LGR high school students going through the last stages of their college and financial aid applications.

A Success Site Director organizes, publicizes, and recruits student participants and college student Coaches for a mentorship program for first- and second-year students at select schools.
