ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

• AFFILIATION: The LGR Port Chester program partners with the Carver Center and is open to students from the Port Chester area.
• DATES/TIMES:
  • Classes will meet on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 to 9PM and will run from late June to mid-August. Students must attend a mandatory family orientation and an intro session, exact dates TBD.
  • All participating students must attend two practice SATs.
  • All students must sign up for the October 6 SAT.
• LOCATION: The program will take place at the Carver Center, 400 Westchester Avenue, Port Chester, NY 10573. Directions.
• HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: The summer program is open to rising high school seniors (students who just completed their junior year). Priority consideration will be given to students who exhibit economic need and are first-generation college bound. To apply click here.
• COLLEGE STUDENTS: We are looking for college students who will be in the area over the summer and have scored at least a 600 on the SAT subject they wish to teach. If you'd like to coach, click here to apply. All volunteers must attend a training session, date TBD.
