Recent Queens College graduate, Macauly Honors Program member, and former Let‘s Get Ready volunteer Rebecca Lee has been featured on Alum.nyc, New York City’s first official citywide network dedicated to celebrating and supporting public school alumni.

As a Freshman at Queens College, Lee provided free SAT tutoring to her peers as a volunteer Let‘s Get Ready math Coach before becoming a College Access Site Director at Queens‘ Zone 126, where she now works as an Executive Administrative Assistant.

In the profile, Lee discusses the importance of finding a balance between her academic, personal, and extra-curricular pursuits. “After learning to slow down, I gathered the confidence and energy to pursue volunteer opportunities as well as internships outside of my classes, all while making sure to dedicate time to myself at the end of every day,” she says.
