Volunteer Opportunities for College Students

Thanks for your interest in Let's Get Ready. College student volunteers are integral to our success. This year, we aim to train 900 college students to guide 2,300 high school students through the college process. There are a variety of ways to get involved in our programs.

VOLUNTEER TO COACH

  • Teach math and/or critical reading and writing SAT prep. LGR will provide you with training and curriculum.
  • Serve as a role model.
  • Guide small groups of high school students through the college process you recently completed.

Cristina (right) served as an LGR Coach and Site Director while at Brown University. After graduating in 2006, Cristina began teaching first grade in New York City through Teach For America. This year she is teaching third grade!

Let's Get Ready programs are developed and supervised by outstanding college students with a gift for leadership and a passion for educational access. LGR's Director and Assistant Site Director Roles are paid fellowship opportunities, during the academic year or over the summer in specified locations.
